Annotation: The article analyzes the impact of modern digital technologies on the forms of law. It is shown that the development of digital technologies leads not only to the evolution and change in the role of traditional forms (sources) of law, but also to the emergence of new ones. In particular, the program code de facto acts as a way of regulating social relations, defining the boundaries of what is necessary and what is possible. Information systems introduced and sanctioned by the state have all the features of the form of law.

Keywords: form of law, source of law, program code, information systems, digital technologies, transformation of law.
